Welcome to the Regester Chapel United Methodist Church web site and to the Regester Chapel Christian community. I am Pastor Ted and am the pastor here. Our congregation has worshiped the risen Christ and witnessed for Him in the Stafford community for over 120 years! We commit ourselves to Connect, Share, and Serve as Christian disciples.
We invite you to join us in connecting with one another, in sharing the love of Christ with one another, and in selfless Christian service in and beyond the Stafford community. We are a multi-generational congregation that values the presence of all God’s unique and diverse people.
Our hope, prayer, and passion is to reach our community – all ages – with the message of God’s grace, mercy, forgiveness and new life in Jesus Christ! Our activities and programs – from worship to small groups to missions – are designed to keep us always looking outward while we help one another grow as followers of Christ.
Feel free to browse through our site to see what we’re about and what God is doing among us. Better yet, if you’re in the Stafford area, join us for Sunday worship or drop by for one of our other activities, we’d love to meet you! |

S.C.S. is not a program –THIS IS OUR RCUMC VISION! Our goal is to create and complete a draft of the curriculum by Wednesday, July 9th and provide the published product to small groups by late July. The Church Council asks that every Sunday School class, small group, and every member engage this vision together.
The time is NOW for every member to participate in & commit to our church vision of in Sharing, Connecting, and Sharing ministries as well as other discipleship development. The curriculum will be appropriate for Sunday School, small groups, and for individual use. Our vision book will include these components:
- Daily devotionals from September 1st through 30th;
- Video components for group viewing (2-3 minute clips of local ministries we support);
- Study Guide Chapters on Sharing, Connecting, and Serving;
- Information on current and upcoming SCS opportunities;
- Hands On Sharing, Connecting, and Service opportunities;
- An invitation to the September 25th Fall Festival featuring the Stop Hunger Now 40 thousand meal packaging event;
- Information on our Fall Revival – Wednesday through Friday evenings, September 22-24th;
- A list of additional group study resources for after the SCS focus ends;
- If possible, illustrations & graphics;
- A SCS Celebration Sunday with 9:30 am Sunday School & 10:45 worship; and
- A Spiritual Gifts Partner meeting agenda.

Our annual Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, September 25th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. We will have a petting zoo, games, cake walk, food, hay ride and lots of other cool things for the entire family! At noon, we will be assembling meals for Stop Hunger Now. All are welcome to join us for this easy and fun outreach effort. |
Regester Chapel is excited to have the opportunity again on September 25th at noon (during our Fall Festival) to package meals for Stop Hunger Now. We are currently accepting donations for postage to mail the meals and these donations will determine how many meals we put together on the 25th. Donations will be accepted through Sunday, September 12. Thank you for your support! |
