We s end volunteers in mission as needs arise. In recent years, our youth have participated in Harvest of Hope and the Richmond Metro Work Camp, and adults participated in disaster response teams to clean up Hurricane Katrina damage in Gulfport, Mississippi. We sent a work team to the Jubilee Project Work Camp in 2008. |

Each year we provide financial assistance and we send volunteer camp counselors to Camp Rainbow, a summer camp for mentally challenged children and adults. It is often the only time each year when the campers can be free to be themselves, with others like themselves, without fear of being ridiculed. They receive nothing but praise and encouragement, and they experience God's love and acceptance in a very real and meaningful way.

We send volunteers into the community throughout the year on various work projects as needs are made known to us. Regular work teams include: --roadside cleanups on Bells Hill Road (Va. Adopt-A-Highway program) --home repair in Stafford or Fredericksburg (Rebuilding Together, last Saturday in April) --repairs and yard work at the Women's Shelter (Rappahannock Council on Domestic Violence)
