Our church provides financial assistance and volunteers to assist the local Habitat for Humanity in providing affordable housing to people in our community who need a "hand up, not a hand out." |

Our communion offering each month goes to one of four local community organizations to help meet the needs of people in our local community. We also collect "wish list" items for these organizations. Our Ministries of the Month are Rappahannock Council on Domestic Violence, Bethany Christian Services, Volunteer Emergency Families for Children, and Hospice Support Care. |
"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord", said David the psalmist, and laughter is the most joyful noise of them all. There is no better way for people to giggle, laugh and forget the outside world, then by clowning for Christ. Our clowns visit local hospitals and other local area community events. If you have ever dreamed of "clowning around" for Christ we hope to see you!

Our church is a member of RACCAP. We provide a meeting space for RACCAP's parent support program -- Circle of Parents. During the national child abuse prevention month in April, Our United Methodist Women we hand out blue ribbons to wear as a sign of our commitment to prevent child abuse, and we publicize and participate in other events scheduled by RACCAP.
