Hello! My name is Martha and I currently shepherd Adult Bible Study I. The class is named after our Methodist literature, Adult Bible Studies. The material provides daily Scripture readings, commentary, and thought-provoking questions. Following the guidelines of the International Lesson Series, we attempt to cover the entire Bible every six years.
Our class meets in Room 6 in the Worship Center at 9:45 a.m. on Sundays. The first fifteen minutes are generally very informal -- sharing what’s happened since we last met; personal concerns, etc. By 10:00 a.m. we get to the heart of why we’re here: to study God’s Word. Understanding the setting for the Scripture, the meaning in Biblical times, and its application for our lives are the goals of this class. Through comparing different Bible translations, the lesson material, and individual input we hopefully grow in our relationship with God and gain insight into our role in His plan.

Hello, my name is Charlotte, and with the assistance of the unit officers, I lead the United Methodist Women (UMW) here at Regester Chapel. The UMW is an "organized unit of United Methodist Women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church." Our focus is on ministries with women, children and youth. Together as women, we grow spiritually, become aware of the many needs at home and throughout the world through mission studies and special mission projects, nurture one another and enjoy just being together as part of God's family. I invite you to come join us on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9am-11am in the Worship Center, Rooms 7& 8. We begin with our business meeting followed by a fellowship time and a special program. The United Methodist Women's organization has always held a very special place in my heart. Working together as a unit and with our District and Conference to improve the lives of women, youth and children in our communities and globally is a special way of answering God's call to serve. To receive additional information regarding the many projects our unit participates in or if you have general questions regarding the UMW please call me at (540) 659-5249 or contact by email:
