Lead Pastor – Thank you for taking the time to look into who we are at Regester Chapel UMC.  We hope the information you find on this site will help you become more familiar with us.  I also want to give you a bit of background information about me so that you and I can become more familiar with each other.  I was born in Hampton, Virginia.  I’ve spent most of my life in Virginia except for my years of college, graduate, and post graduate study.  During my time of graduate study at Emory University, I met Teresa Signer (from Monroe Wisconsin). In 1988, Teresa and Ted were married at the Historic Fort Monroe, Virginia.  Teresa and I are both ordained United Methodist pastors and have been serving congregations in Virginia since 1988.  In 2006, Pastor Teresa created New Pathways Ministry, LLC to focus on ministries of spiritual health and healing. My family and I have been a part of the Regester Chapel family since 2007.  We have become very fond of both the Regester Chapel congregation and the Stafford area.  I invite you to visit and worship with us at Regester Chapel.  I am confident that you too will come to feel the bonds of closeness, support, and community as you live, worship, and fellowship with the Regester Chapel congregation.

Youth Director -Devin Livingston serves as the Regester Chapel Director of Youth and Young Adults.  Devin joined the Regester Chapel team in February 2009 and in a very short time has quickly become part of the Regester family.  His love for adventure, passion for authentic relationships, and calling to build up the church is combined with his deep knowledge of theology to make him a natural leader.  He desires to make true disciples of Jesus Christ whatever age or walk of life.  Devin grew up in Owings, MD and received his Masters of Divinity in Theology from George W. Truett Seminary at Baylor University.
